Co-Founder
Dipali Agarwal is a B.Sc. graduate from JD Birla College, Kolkata. After completing her graduation, she joined her father’s enterprise, where she gained experience across various sectors, from accounts to day-to-day management. She initially worked in an edible oil manufacturing company and later expanded her expertise into the ready-made textile industry, collaborating with her younger brother. Dipali's entrepreneurial spirit and drive to create something new have been key to her professional journey.
Co-Founder
Smera Agarwal holds a degree in Psychology and English from Ashoka University, Haryana. A science major, she has brought innovative ideas to the company, particularly in HR management and plastic waste management, which have opened up new growth prospects. Smera has played an instrumental role in the company’s recognition and awards, including recent accolades for excellence in plastic waste management and upcycling. Notably, North East Granulators was recognized at the Modern Plastic India Awards 2024 in Mumbai for "Leadership Excellence in Recycling in North East" and received the Star MSME Award 2024 in New Delhi for "Outstanding Performance in Plastic Recycling Manufacturing." The company was also featured in Silicon India Magazine as one of the "10 Most Promising Waste Management Companies 2024."
Chief Strategist & Advisor
Aryata Agarwal, an MBA graduate from Wharton University, Pennsylvania, USA, has been a guiding force behind the company since its inception. She has skilfully steered the company toward achieving its ambitious goals and has been instrumental in its continued growth. Aryata manages the company's PR and legal matters and provides strategic advice. In 2019, she was recognized in Forbes Magazine for her critical role in advising the company during the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also advising the company through its first private equity deal, which is expected to conclude successfully in 2025.
Chief Operating Officer
Shwet Agarwal holds an MBA from Buckingham University, London, and brings over 30 years of experience in the plastic industry. He oversees day-to-day production and sales operations at the company. With extensive expertise in the woven sacks raffia industry and marketing, Shwet has built a strong network and relationships with customers over the years. Joining the company in 2018, he has developed a committed and dedicated workforce, mentoring a team of junior staff to manage the company's daily operations effectively.
